Property Maintenance

Light building works, property maintenance, gite management.

Many of you already have a gite in France which you holiday in during the year, and as we all know arriving at your holiday home in France and having to spend a lot of your time cutting the grass, doing plumbing and electrical repairs and DIY jobs around your property, probably isn't what most of you want to be doing when you are trying to spend time relaxing with your family.

John and Sue have made many English and French friends in Normandy.   One friend  has just finished refurbishing three properties in the UK and has moved to France to assist Frenchstay with the property maintenance business managing gites in St Lo, Mont St Michel, Vire, Cherbourg covering the five departments of Normandy, Calvados, Manche, Seine Martine, Orne, and Eure.

Frenchstay offers a local French gite and property management service and are based in the St Lo and Vire areas of Normandy.

NORMANDY PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

Our services include the following:

• Weekly or monthly Inspections of your property.

• Swimming pool maintenance.

• Rectification of breakages, maintenance, repairs and light building works if required.

• House warming, changeovers, laundry, including stocking of essentials - wood, milk, bread etc.

• Garden Maintenance, grass cutting,  hedge cutting, strimming, rotorvating, fencing.

• Mail forwarding.

• If you are renting out a gite, supervision of ingoing/outgoing tenants including checking inventories and reporting on condition.

Following a meeting with the owners and viewing the property a monthly fee will be quoted.
 

Building Works include :-

Septic tank installations carried out

Plumbing and heating works for English or French systems and pipe sizes.

Exterior painting and maintenance.

Electrical works by qualified French or English electrician.

Pets and animal care, garden care, gite change over and management.

Ponds, water features and garden landscaping.

House clearance.
